- Business Strategy Development
Launched in 2015, Azcendant is an interior design agency offering a wide range of services including home improvement, space planning, furnishing, and more. The brand’s continuous efforts to drive change and keep pace with the evolving needs of the industry, as well as their commitment to consistently deliver reliable, cost-effective services to their clients, has established them as a reputable and trusted design consultancy agency.
Despite their success, Azcendant’s business volume was insufficient, their profits too low. Market segmentation was not well defined and the overall direction, moving forward, unclear. Furthermore, the company was heavily dependent on sub-contractors to deliver onsite work. As a result, profit margins were reduced and delivery deadlines extended beyond what was promised to consultants.
Business Strategy Development
Pro-Growth Model
Our consultants studied Azcendant’s current business model and proposed a tweak. A pro-growth model was generated. The company will now focus both on the commercial and residential segments with more or less equal emphasis on both. Focus is also placed on increasing the sales leads generation. Deep analysis was done to find out why the sales conversion rate was low, and corrective measures were identified. More lead portals will be explored. Marketing through social media will be stepped up with professional help. The director was also encouraged to do more targeted networking activities.
Targeted Acquisition Strategy
Our consultants worked out an acquisition strategy and plans for the company to acquire key onsite work expertise like Carpentry, tiles laying, etc. The company is currently pursuing this strategy.
