The Floor Gallery (TFG) offers a one-stop flooring solution for people from all walks of life. They supply and install high quality indoor flooring and outdoor decking products.
Despite having strategic plans in place, there was a lack of progress monitoring and clear targets to achieve organisational goals. Besides that, The Floor Gallery had no proper process to handle customer complaints or monitor customer satisfaction. While they aimed to identify and groom future leaders, they did not have a holistic talent management programme and only implemented a one-way performance evaluation.
Business Strategy Development
By providing guidance and setting up timelines for their strategic plans, we enhanced TFG’s visibility for their future steps and allowed them to better monitor their progress towards their goals.
Customer Strategy
It can be tough to know what are the areas of improvement without feedback. Hence, we advised them to implement a customer satisfaction survey. In addition, we also helped them to develop a Corrective Action Review (CAR) log to handle customer complaints and touch-up requests more efficiently.
Human Capital Consulting
We introduced the 9-box grid talent management tool which assisted TFG to map their organisation’s talent pool based on performance and potential. This tool not only helps to identify TFG’s talents, but also guides TFG to implement the necessary tools to groom these high performers.
Furthermore, to obtain a more holistic view of each employee and his or her contributions, we recommended the implementation of a 360 Performance Review.
In addition, we suggested to establish an Employee Engagement Survey to gain deeper insights on employee satisfaction.
