Established in 1996, Mega Packers Associate has emerged as a leading importer and exporter of beef, lamb, mutton, poultry and ready-to-eat products in Singapore. More than being a trading company, they provide facilities for food processing, packaging as well as cold storage. The company has forged enduring relationships with global meat producers due to a commitment to international food safety standards, competitive pricing and seamless end-to-end solutions, cementing its status as an industry leader and a trusted partner.
Despite being one of the leading importers and exporters of meat products and ready-to-eat products, the company faced challenges on several fronts. Its internal challenges include resistance to change amongst staff, difficulty in hiring the right personnel, lack of performance from employees and inadequate HR procedures. It also needed to improve productivity and efficiency through automated processes, new products, marketing and market expansion.
