- Digital & Brand Enhancement
- In-House Certification Capability Development
- Recurring Revenue Model Introduction
The Enclosure People (TEPPL) is a specialised solutions provider in industrial enclosures and explosion-proof systems, with a strong reputation in Singapore. While the company had built a loyal customer base, its growth was constrained by limited market diversification and reliance on referrals. With strategic support from Advanced Consultancy, TEPPL initiated a transformation focused on regional expansion, structured lead generation, and the development of in-house technical capabilities. These initiatives are positioning the company for sustainable growth, improved margins, and a more predictable revenue pipeline.
TEPPL derived nearly 90% of its revenue from Singapore, with minimal penetration into regional markets such as Malaysia and Vietnam. The absence of a structured market expansion strategy limited growth opportunities and increased dependency on a single geography. Additionally, the company relied heavily on repeat customers and word-of-mouth referrals, resulting in inconsistent lead generation and limited pipeline visibility.
Operationally, TEPPL faced a high cost structure due to reliance on imported components and outsourced services. The lack of in-house explosion-proof (Ex) certification capabilities further constrained its ability to differentiate, increased turnaround times, and impacted overall profit margins.
Regional Market Expansion
Developed a structured strategy to expand into Malaysia and Vietnam, diversifying revenue streams and reducing dependency on the Singapore market.
Lead Generation & CRM Implementation
Introduced a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to improve pipeline visibility and customer engagement. This was complemented by a formal referral programme to systematically leverage existing client networks.
Digital & Brand Enhancement
Planned and executed digital initiatives including a redesigned website and a targeted LinkedIn marketing strategy to strengthen brand presence and generate qualified leads.
In-House Certification Capability Development
Designed a guided pilot programme for staff to obtain IECEx CoPC certification through TUV. In parallel, established a roadmap for achieving Ex-product certification and QAR/QAN accreditation, enabling the company to develop and certify its own explosion-proof products.
Recurring Revenue Model Introduction
Introduced Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) to create a stable, recurring revenue stream and reduce reliance on one-off project-based income.
